Frequently asked questions about pricing

Are hosting and maintenance included in these prices?

Generally speaking, no. Site creation and hosting are two separate items. Hosting is often billed directly to the customer by the hosting company, to guarantee exclusive ownership of the site. Technical maintenance is billed separately.

Are there any hidden or recurring costs with a freelancer?

A well-constructed freelance web design quote details all initial costs. The only recurring costs to anticipate are hosting, domain name, and possibly licenses for certain premium plugins or monthly subscriptions to platforms like Webflow.

Why is there such a price difference between a showcase site and a premium site?

A premium site involves in-depth UX (user experience) research, complex animations, extensive art direction and often advanced functionalities or a headless CMS. Design and development time is therefore considerably longer.
