I'm Altay Dagistan, an independent Art Director & Web Designer based in Paris. Since 2010, I've helped B2B companies, startups and SMEs clarify their offer and present it better, through their identity, website and communication materials.

One consistent direction, from identity to website

My work connects art direction, branding, editorial design, print, web design and UX/UI. I'm involved from scoping through to deliverables, with the same attention to strategy, design and usage. I also work with institutions and agencies, on a full identity, a sales presentation, a report, a campaign or a digital experience.

Digital solutions designed to measure

I also design custom digital solutions: complex interfaces, editorial platforms, business tools, content systems, specific features and CMS tailored to a project's real needs. This approach lets me work on projects where design has to organize journeys, data, usages and sometimes highly elaborate technical constraints. A selection of this work is visible in my graphic and web design portfolio.

Cross-industry experience

Trained in Turkey then in France, I hold a Master's degree from the École Supérieure d'Art de Lorraine in Metz. My path has led me to collaborate with organizations of various sizes and sectors, in France and internationally: publishing, media, finance, institutions, tech, cybersecurity, e-commerce, culture and services. AI, automation and creative tools

I also use artificial intelligence and automation to create custom tools, content and production systems, whenever they bring a concrete benefit to the project.

Music as another language

Alongside this, I'm a singer, guitarist and songwriter in the band Rain Speaks. Music feeds my relationship with rhythm, composition and storytelling.

Aesthetics in service of meaning

Design doesn't exist to decorate. Every graphic choice (typography, color, composition) has to carry an intention and serve a specific goal. An effective visual identity translates a brand's strategy into a clear, memorable visual language.

My work is about turning concepts into forms: making visible what needs to be understood, legible what needs to be remembered, and distinctive what needs to leave a mark. No gratuitous decoration, no superficial trends. Just design that works.
